Overview:  Employers' liability programme with fully integrated medical and vocational rehabilitation following work related incidents causing injury or illness to employees. A Serious Accident Response Service, simplified process for notifying incidents and access to specialist loss control engineers can assist with accident management and Health and Safety compliance with enforcing bodies.

  • accel Elite includes Employers’ Liability Insurance (£10 million limit) and:Medical Rehabilitation
    • Medical Rehabilitation is provided to employees injured or made ill at work, regardless of fault and at no additional premium cost
    • Professional Case Manager reviews and help to ensure the most appropriate medical treatment e.g. depending on circumstances, private consultations, specialist treatments, 2nd opinions complementary therapies etc
    • Case Manager monitors treatment and recovery and coordinates medical services, liaises with insurers, lawyers, GPs, consultants and keeps employee fully informed
    Vocational Consultancy
    • Following medical intervention and recovery further support back into the workplace may be necessary
    • Our Vocational Consultants can provide comprehensive vocational assessment, and detailed job analysis, to help to ensure a suitable position is found for your employee on return to work.
    • Vocational Consultants liaise with employers e.g. modifying equipment, amending duties. If a return to the former employer is not possible our Vocational Consultants also assist in identifying and facilitating opportunities in other  companies or sectors
    24 Hour 365 Day Incident Reporting
    • Incidents notified via 24 hour 365 day Accel Elite Report line staffed by trained operators to capture necessary information
    • Generates notification to HSE for RIDDOR reportable incidents
    • Provides incident analysis data for employers via secure web-site
    Health and Safety Advice and Support can include:
    • On-site assessment of clients’ processes and procedures followed by debriefing session and written report
    • Access to Health and Safety technical helpline
    • Web-based compliance manager modules providing online training
    Serious Accident Response Service
    • Technical and organisational expertise following fatalities and
      major injuries. Prompt attendance by skilled investigators to set
      up onsite incident coordinating facility
    • Liaison with enforcing authorities, lawyers, witness interviews,
      statements and preparation of investigation reports and identification of incident cause and corrective measures
